Trouble In Tijuana

Mexico is sending more than 3,000 soldiers and police to the northern border city of Tijuana to help fight drug trafficking and gang violence. Why is it when Mexico send troops to the border it's no problem, but when the US even mentions such an action it becomes provocation and militarization?

Tijuana is across the border from San Diego, California and is a major entry point for drugs into the US. It was home to over 300 killings in 2006. Back in October, I wrote about this den of iniquity where the mayor
believes that the majority of police officers in his city are, in some way, involved in illegal drug trafficking or organized crime.

When you have neighbors like this a fence makes good sense and so does securing the perimeter. Will the Democrats give us our fence and secure the borders now that they have the power? Don't hold your breath, but watch them try and blame the Republicans when the next terrorist act explodes upon the scene.
