Biden Is A Bozo

The following is from an article by Joseph Farah. He makes an excellent point that Biden needs to be questioned about. It is difficult to believe that anyone holding Biden's beliefs also holds the office of United States Senator. No wonder we are in the mess we're in.

I guess I never realized just how ignorant Biden was until now. We all know about his plagiarism background, which forced him out of a presidential race in the past. The guy is an idiot – a pompous, arrogant idiot.

"I suffer from teaching constitutional law, so I apologize if I get a little turgid," Biden warned TV audiences in a condescending fashion. He shouldn't have bothered. I suspect the average viewer of this program has a better grasp of the meaning of the U.S. Constitution than Biden.

For starters, Biden is under the impression that the current U.S. Supreme Court is dominated by "conservatives." Not just conservatives, mind you, but activists.

The truth is, as anyone even modestly familiar with the Supreme Court knows, there are only three conservatives on the court – three of nine. Now granted the intellectual power of William Rehnquist, Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas far outshines the other six dolts. But the conservatives hardly have the votes to dominate.

Biden said there would probably be a filibuster if President Bush nominated Edith Jones to replace Sandra Day O'Connor. What about Janice Rogers Brown? Whoops, I didn't mean Edith Jones, said Biden. Janice Rogers Brown is the chick he meant. This, by the way, after advising Bush to nominate a woman to replace O'Connor.

But how could a filibuster of Brown be justified given she was just confirmed by the U.S. Senate for an appellate court judgeship?

It was the answer to this question that jolted me from my laidback vacation on the beach to answer the call of duty once again. Read Biden's words carefully if you want to understand the imminent danger to the republic posed by the likes of Joe Biden and others who follow his interpretation of the Constitution.

"I'll tell you why," said Biden. "Because a circuit court judge is bound by stare decisis. They don't get to make new law."

Did you catch that?

Joe Biden not only understands what the activists on the U.S. Supreme Court have been doing is in direct contradiction to the U.S. Constitution, he approves of it. He thinks it is perfectly appropriate for presidents to name judges to lifetime appointments to rule over the American people with no accountability.

He thinks that a good thing – as long as the justices think like him.

Let me suggest, for the sake of Biden's constitutional law students and others who may be misled by this dolt, a simple reading of Article 1, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution: "All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives."

This doesn't leave a lot of room for interpretation – not even for the "living Constitution" proponents on the U.S. Supreme Court. No courts, no judges are to make law in the United States of America. We are a nation under the rule of law, not the rule of men.

But this is what we hear from constitutional scholars like Biden – a man who has served as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, a man who wants to be president.
