Guess Who Called Off Fun Day?

From NewsMax comes word that Alton Towers, Britain's biggest theme park has called off the country's first "National Muslim Fun Day". Actually the event's organisers, Islamic Leisure, who rented the park for the day and were marketing the event, had called it off due to "insufficient ticket sales".

Here's part of the fun that was planned, but will now be missed. Music, gambling, smoking and alcohol were to be banned for the day. There was to be strict Islamic dress code, prayer areas and only food made to Islamic code. The park rides were all segregated by sex, meaning even married couples would not be permitted to ride together. Although not explicitly mentioned, I'm sure we can presume there would have been no caricaturists offering portraits.

Ah, is it any wonder they have no shortage of volunteers for suicide?
