Incompetence At NBC?

The same Hollywood liberal types who can boldly second guess the government on Iraq, Katrina, Lebanon etc. failed to anticipate the reaction to their opening Emmy awards skit.

You might think that the sensitive all knowing sages of NBC would realize that doing a skit on a plane crash hours after 49 people died in a real crash would be in questionable taste. And, to actually allow it to be broadcast in Lexington Kentucky where the tragedy took place is proof of the blundering incompetence of the NBC administration.

As Tim Gilbert, the general manager of NBC's Lexington, Ky., affiliate, WLEX said, "We wish somebody had thought this through. It's somewhere between ignorance and incompetence."

You lose your job for that, don't you?
