ACLU Targeting Our Youth

In the final quarter of last year the NYCLU issued a press release headlined: NYCLU Unveils Campaign to Defend Students' Rights.

In it, Donna Lieberman, Executive Director, stated, "The military is setting its sights on vulnerable groups of young people as it tries to meet the demands for more soldiers to fight an increasingly unpopular war. We send our children to school for an education, not to become military targets."

Notice, what I'm sure they thought was the clever use, of "setting its sights" and "targets" to imply the impending assassination of our youth by the evil military who want to prolong what the ACLU feels is an unpopular war. The other implication being, that unless a war is popular it is wrong.

I bring up this piece of history because the ACLU, themselves, "have set their sights" and are targeting our youth in an attempt to promote their godless agenda.

There is a site called Stand Up With The ACLU. If you haven't just eaten, then I encourage you to go and browse. The news section urges somewhat pathetically, "
Impress your friends, and, even better, everyone older than you with how in the know you are. Check out the news before it's history." That would be news seen through socialist sight, would it not?

Go to the Rant section Of Stand Up. It states "we are open to opinions that span the political spectrum including those that might be considered liberal or conservative. In other words, your essay may come in on any side of the fence, left, right or anywhere in between."

Now, go to one of the conservative rants...couldn't find one, could you? There were none when I went there. What a shock!

Wait though, I'm not done yet. Stand Up also gives awards and they have just had their second annual Stand Up for Freedom Contest. Would you like to see the kind of creativity they're rewarding? I knew you would. Go here and get ready to throw up on the ACLU.

So it is obvious, the ACLU is setting its sights on vulnerable groups of young people as it tries to meet the demands for more members to join an increasingly unpopular organization. We send our children to school for an education, not to become socialist targets.
