New York's Duplicitous Duo

In what must be one of the greatest moments in the art of pandering here's what little Chuckie Schumer had to say at a gathering last month.

"I love America, and I truly believe that the more Irish there are here, the better America is," Mr. Schumer said at a meeting of nearly 1,000 Irish immigrants in Queens on February 17, organized by the New York-based Irish Lobby for Immigration Reform, according to the Irish Voice.

Advocates were pleased to hear of Mr. Schumer's commitment to a policy that would enable illegal immigrants to receive permanent residency.

The Irish government, which is helping fund efforts to lobby Washington on immigration reform, estimates there are more than 40,000 illegal Irish immigrants in America. "The worst thing we could do," Mr. Schumer said at the meeting, "is close the door, not only for those who want to come, but for those who are already here."

Now, not to be outdone, the junior jackal from NY joins in the Irish and illegal alien kiss up this month.

Speaking at a rally of Irish immigrants, Clinton criticized a bill the House passed in December that would impose harsher penalties for undocumented workers.

"Don't turn your backs on what made this country great," she said, calling the measure "a rebuke to what America stands for."

She called instead for immigration changes "based on strengthening our borders in order to make us safer from the threat of terrorism."

My mother's parents were Irish immigrants but they came here legally, earned their citizenship and were loyal to this country, not Ireland.

Quite frankly, I could care less where immigrants come from as long as they follow the rules. Being here illegally means they choose not to follow the rules and that is not a foundation on which to build a good citizen. The left does not comprehend this because they think it is just fine to pick and choose what laws to follow.

If you're illegal, Irish, Mexican, Australian, Chinese, Peruvian, Russian, I don't care, I want you gone.

What made this country great was not hordes of illegals invading it to plunder its bounty but, the processing of people who wished to embrace a new homeland into the American way of life. Whatever happened to that "melting pot" concept.

Once again the duplicitous duo from NY shows their concern is not for our security but, rather for how many votes they can finesse through butt kissing various ethnic groups.

Hillary talks about "strengthening our borders in order to make us safer from the threat of terrorism" but, provides not one specific. She knows any strong stance on securing our borders will alienate some of those she needs to make her bid for the presidency. So, like Bill, she will sell out her country as benefits her personal gain.
