Really Joe? 263,000 "jobs lost" and unemployment rate up to 9.8% does reflect a change in the trajctory of our economy,but it's hardly one to be joyful about. Not only that, Joe, the picture is a lot worse than those numbers show.

The Market Ticker shows us the numbers are far worse and should have us scared to death.

Weekly earnings are also down by $1.54, which is bad news too.

But the Household Data is VASTLY worse than reported. Here are the month-over-month changes, and they're in the realm of frightening. (all numbers in thousands)

Civilian Labor Force: 154,879 to 153,617 this month.

Employed: 140,074 down to 139,079 this month.

That's a loss of 995,000 jobs, not 263,000, and the labor force contracted by 1,262,000 people!

The participation rate was absolutely decimated, down 0.6% this last month alone. The people "not in the labor force" rose by a staggering 1,516,000 in the last month.

The government doesn't count people as "unemployed" who have given up and exited the labor force, but as I have repeatedly noted whether the government counts them or not the corner store owner sure as hell does!

The fact of the matter is that nearly 1 million fewer people were working in September as compared to August; there has been absolutely no improvement in that trend whatsoever.

So while our president is off spending money on an ill advised and failing effort to bring the Olympics to America's murder capital, the economy continues to spiral downward.

At the same time North Korea still has suffered none of the consequences we threatened and Iran is on the threshold of nuclear weapons capability. And let's not forget that our soldiers continue to die in Afghanistan while Barack weighs his options, something he already should have done if his previously voiced concerns were true.

America is in enormous trouble folks. Please remember that and vote to save her.

Not the Letterman Barack Knew?

David Letterman acknowledged on his show Thursday night that he'd had sexual relations with members of his staff and that he revealed those liaisons during grand jury testimony for a case involving an attempted extortion.

Amazingly, Letterman who found humor in comparing Obamacare protestors to the Taliban and thought the raping of Sarah Palin's daughter at Yankee Stadium was an amusing topic, found little to laugh about in his own self created sordid situation.

"My response to that is, yes I have. I have had sex with women who work on this show," he said. "Would it be embarrassing if it were made public? Perhaps it would, especially for the women."

"I feel like I need to protect these people -- I need to certainly protect my family," Letterman said. "I need to protect myself ... hope to protect my job."

"It's been a very bizarre experience," Letterman said in closing. "I don't plan to say much more about this."

Gee, David, I think there's some really great comedy material here. Put those writers to work on it. They can weave your recent marriage into the mix.

Remember, this is the show our president recently chose to make an appearance on. Subjecting the presidency to rubbing elbows with this kind of trash is inexcusable and unforgivable.

CNN had a hissy fit about this poll including an option to kill Obama. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying this shows good taste, but then it was posted by a juvenile. However, where was the outrage by CNN when the leftard wingnuts were actually advocating assassinating Bush and Cheney?

The poll asked respondents "Should Obama be killed?" The choices: No, Maybe, Yes, and Yes if he cuts my health care.

Once the Secret Service met with the child and the child's parents, they determined there was no intent to harm the president.

Last time CNN got all worked up they reported a Coast Guard exercise as a terrorist attack on the president. Nice news work guys.

CNN should concern itself with legitimate threats like Van Jones, ACORN and this incompetent administration.

The next time you're lied to again about illegals receiving health care remember this.

Senate Finance Committee Democrats rejected a proposed a requirement that immigrants prove their identity with photo identification when signing up for federal healthcare programs.

Finance Committee ranking member Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said that current law and the healthcare bill under consideration are too lax and leave the door open to illegal immigrants defrauding the government using false or stolen identities to obtain benefits.

Illegals currently would not be required to show a photo ID, such as a drivers license. Without that requirement, the bill "remains dearly lacking when it comes to identification," Grassley said. "Frankly, I'm very perplexed as to why anyone would oppose this amendment," he said.

There's nothing perplexing about it, Obama and crew want illegals to be cared for by the American taxpayer. They want illegals to be able to vote and they want amnesty for them. It's painfully obvious.

Grassley's amendment was beaten back 10-13 on a party-line vote.

Got No Smarts?

This is just a short note to recognize the moron representative from Florida, Alan Grayson. Attempting to speak in complete sentences, he said in an interview, "What I mean is they have got no plan." This refers to Republicans and the health care debate.

The congressman also said that Republicans he believes are obstructing health care reform are "foot-dragging, knuckle-dragging Neanderthals." This, mind you, comes from a man who thinks "they have got no plan" is a clever use of the English language. If there are members of congress who have problems walking erect, Grayson would be one of them.

The Bronx High School of Science used to produce excellent students, Grayson certainly proves that is no longer true bacause as Alan might say, he got no education there.

When he was running for the presidency Barack Obama repeatedly said he would reinforce the troops in Afghanistan.

Now that General Stanley McChrystal, the U.S. commander in Afghanistan, has asked for more troops, why is Obama not sending them?

CNS lists several instances where the campaigning Obama said he wanted to treat Afghanistan as the primary front in the war on terror. So, what happened?

On Jan. 14 of this year, a week before being sworn in as president, Obama told Katie Couric that the United States “took our eye off the ball,” and that “our real focus has to be on Afghanistan, the border regions between Afghanistan and Pakistan . . . [t]hat’s my number one priority as president of the United States.”

The American Spectator has an article on Patrick Gaspard, one of the most powerful figures in the Obama White House. He holds the same "political affairs director" title that belonged to Karl Rove during the Bush administration. He's was a political director for SEIU (Obama's union boys) and a political director for ACORN (Obama's community organization and census takers).Last year he worked as national political director for the Obama campaign followed by a stint as associate personnel director for the Obama-Biden transition team.

Yet, here's the exchange between Obama and George Stephanopolous during a recent interview:

STEPHANOPOULOS: How about the funding for ACORN?

OBAMA: You know, if -- frankly, it's not really something I've followed closely. I didn't even know that ACORN was getting a whole lot of federal money.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Both the Senate and the House have voted to cut it off.

OBAMA: You know, what I know is, is that what I saw on that video was certainly inappropriate and deserves to be investigated.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So you're not committing to -- to cut off the federal funding?

OBAMA: George, this is not the biggest issue facing the country. It's not something I'm paying a lot of attention to.

With Gaspard as his political affairs director only a fool would believe what Obama said. Read the article and ask yourself what else is the Obama administration lying about.

Kennedy Wants to Protect STD Info

Mister Drunk and Disorderly, Patrick Kennedy, is making the news again. No, he hasn't assaulted anyone or done damage to a car or boat again. This time he's talking about the new national system of Electronic Health Records.

This member of Drunken Democrats from Massachusetts is saying people will be able to stop doctors from including records of sexually transmitted diseases and abortions when they help create the Electronic Health Record (EHR) for every American.

It's obvious why Patrick would want to prevent this kind of info from going in his own record and also his friends and family. But, how about letting all Americans decide what personal information the government can have? That would be part of the concept of freedom that the left gives lip service to, but squelches at every opportunity.

Palestinians Pause in Prayer to Attack Jews

Another reminder of the islamomaniacs religion of peace, love and tolerance came Sunday evening during a visit by a Jewish group to the Temple Mount in east Jerusalem.

Palestinians praying at the site, known to Muslims as Haram al-Sharif, began throwing rocks at the visiting Jews. One has to wonder what evil these Palestinians could be praying for that would encourage them to set upon a group of innocent people. But wait they're not innocent, they're Jews and that according to this sect of Satan is sufficient reason to kill them.

Gabrielle Giffords, What Say You?

How many times must the anniversary of September 11th come and go before our government takes border security seriously?

On the same day Lloyd Easterling, acting media director for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, confirmed they will reduce the number of agents on the border with Mexico, comes a report from government auditors that the effort to secure the Mexican border with technology and fences has fallen years behind schedule, will cost billions of dollars extra in maintenance costs and has no clear means of gauging whether illegal crossings have been curtailed.

Mark Borkowski, who directs the Secure Border Initiative for the Department of Homeland Security said, “We are as frustrated as anybody is.”

Not hardly, Mark, you have no idea how we feel. It is way past being frustrated we are now at full unadulterated disgust with the incompetence of you and your ilk.

The Government Accountability Office says the department has fallen about seven years behind its goal of putting in place the technology the Bush administration had promoted when it announced the Secure Border Initiative in 2005. In 2006, the report said, the department estimated it would have a system of cameras, radars and sensors in place to aid a force of border guards by the end of 2009, but the completion date is now projected as 2016. Why isn't Gabrielle Giffords working on this problem instead of working fund raisers in Delaware?

There is no excuse for this failure to protect and secure America and its citizens. Firing these cretins doesn't even approach appropriate payback for their traitorous behavior.

Barack and Mahmoud Begin Neener-Neener War

Barack says, Mahmoud broke the rules by constructing a secret uranium-enrichment plant. Mahmoud says, "If I were Obama's adviser, I would definitely advise him to refrain making this statement because it is definitely a mistake."

Obama warned that Iran would be held accountable if it failed to live up to its international obligations.

Earlier this week, Iran disclosed the existence of the plant rather than have it exposed by the US. The secret plant is a violation of the non-proliferation agreements to which Tehran is a signatory.

"This does not mean we must inform Mr. Obama's administration of every facility that we have," Mahmoud said, warning that if Obama brings up the uranium facility, it "simply adds to the list of issues to which the United States owes the Iranian nation an apology over." And he boasted that Obama's "mistakes" work in Iran's favor.

Barack has no coalition and no ability to really bring pressure to bear on Mahmoud. So, Mr. President, what will you do, what will you do?

Giffords Mum on Border Patrol Reduction

On Thursday, Lloyd Easterling, acting media director for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, confirmed that the number of U.S. Border Patrol agents that are deployed on the U.S.-Mexico border will be cut.

Jim Switzer, chairman of the National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers (NAFBPO), said the proposal to alter the number of deployed agents “sounds typical of this administration’s lack of real interest in securing the borders.”

“They obviously care more about their internal lobbying for cheaper labor than they do about the safety of this country. They sure aren’t showing any particular interest in the increasing dangers that the present force of agents are already facing,” he continued.

The Herald/Review attempted to contact U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. She's our "represenatative" here in southeastern Arizona. Giffords’ communications director, C.J. Karamargin, was not able to provide any comment late Thursday. Why? Perhaps if Gabby spent time in her district instead of whoring for donations in Delaware with Joe Biden she could respond quickly to issues directly effecting her constituency.

Then the Herald/Review wonders why people want her recalled. Their editorial was ill-advised.

Manuel Zeyala in the Case of the Israeli Mercenaries

When last we checked on him, Manuel Zelaya, was holed up in the Brazilian embassy in Honduras. Now, he has had an interview with The Miami Herald.

"We are being threatened with death,'' he said. He's sleeping on chairs, and he claims his throat is sore from toxic gases and "Israeli mercenaries'' are torturing him with high-frequency radiation.

He should pack that cowboy hat of his with tinfoil and await instructions from the mother ship.

Zelaya says he has no plans to leave the embassy anytime soon.

"I am the president the people of Honduras chose,'' Zelaya said. "A country can't have two presidents -- just one.'' Unless he's a schizo like you, Manuel.

And this is the guy Obama wants back in power? Of course, a conspiracy nutcase who implicates the Jews would make Barack feel right at home.

Barack Betrays Another Ally

Just days after breaking American promises to Poland and the Czech Republic, Obama made Jimmy Carter proud by betraying another ally, Israel. At the UN General Assembly Obama said, "America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements." Those were the words of the American president that evoked a joyful response from Israel's enemies.

This puts the US in concert with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who used the same forum to accuse Israel of "inhuman policies" in the Palestinian territories.

It is becoming more obvious by the day where America is headed. Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi calls our president, "my son," our president's appointed officials call Hugo Chavez's dictatorship "an incredible revolution" and we find ourselves in the anti-Israeli camp with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Ask yourselves, is this the America you want to live in. As Patrick Henry said, "Forbid it Almighty God!"

The Washington Times reports that Obama's diversity czar at the Federal Communications Commission, Mark Lloyd, has spoken publicly of getting white media executives to "step down" in favor of minorities, prescribed policies to make liberal talk radio more successful, and described Hugo Chavez's rise to power in Venezuela "an incredible revolution." That kind of praise for a press censoring dictator should be enough to disqualify this radical from any government position involving the media.

Lloyd spoke about the need to remove white people from powerful positions in the media to give minorities a fairer chance. What would happen if a white official suggested black executives step down? Is Lloyd channeling Robert Mugabe?

Gabrielle Giffords is Raising Money in Delaware

Joe Biden said yesterday that if Democrats were to lose 35 House seats they currently hold in traditionally Republican districts, it would mean doomsday for President Obama’s agenda. “If they take them back, this the end of the road for what Barack and I are trying to do.”

It might be doomsday for Obama's agenda, but it would mean the saving of America.

Oh, guess where Biden was when he said this. He was at a fundraiser for Gabrielle Giffords, my representative here in Arizona, but the event was in Greenville, Delaware.

It would be nice if Gabby would either stay in Washington DC or here in her district instead of trolling for dollars in Delaware.

B.O. Knows Foreign Policy?

The deposed Honduran president Manuel Zelaya has slipped back into the country to challenge leaders determined to hold new elections without him. Zelaya has called for negotiations with the leaders who forced him from the country at gunpoint. Interim president Micheletti urged Brazil (Zelaya's hiding in Brazil's embassy)to turn Zelaya over to Honduran authorities for trial.

You would think all of this is the business of the Honduran people and really none of America's business. And, after all, the White House refused to officially question the result or even condemn the brutal suppression of opposition protestors during the Iranian election crisis. At that time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said, "We are monitoring the situation as it unfolds in Iran but we, like the rest of the world, are waiting and watching to see what the Iranian people decide. "The United States has refrained from commenting on the election in Iran. We obviously hope that the outcome reflects the genuine will and desire of the Iranian people."

Why then yesterday did she say that Zelaya and the Honduran government must find a way to talk and to avoid violence? Why didn't the US refrain from comment and hope the outcome reflects the genuine will and desire of the Honduran people? Why does the Obama administration once again talk out of both sides of its mouth, having a different set of rules for allies like Honduras and Israel while giving our enemies Iran and North Korea a free pass?

It's a rhetorical question, folks. We all know it's just another step in the dismantling of this great nation. William Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Van Jones, are all applauding.

B.O. Knows Insurance?

President Obama insists that requiring Americans to get health insurance does not amount to a tax increase. "For us to say you have to take responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase," Obama said in response to persistent questioning, later adding: "Nobody considers that a tax increase."

Telling people to take responsibility and forcing them to do something are not the same despite what passes for logic in the liberal mindset.

"What it's saying is ... that we're not going to have other people carrying your burdens for you any more than the fact that right now everybody in America, just about, has to get auto insurance," he said. "Nobody considers that a tax increase. People say to themselves, that is a fair way to make sure that, if you hit my car, that I'm not covering all the costs."

Once again, we're not talking apples to apples and he's not telling the truth. First, you don't have to own an automobile. Therefore, not everyone in America has to get auto insurance.

Second, illegals often do not have a license to drive and definitely do not have insurance. So, if they hit my car, I am going to have to cover that cost. The same thing will happen with medical care. Americans will be insured, illegals will get free care no matter what anyone says.

When asked again about critics calling the requirement to pay for health insurance a tax increase, Obama said: "My critics say everything is a tax increase."

Didn't he just say earlier that "Nobody considers that a tax increase."Which is it? He can't keep his lies straight for even a few minutes.

Obamacare Thugs Hope to Animate Anger

Obama and crew are about to turn their radical subversive ogres loose on the American public once again. Although they accuse others of instigating mobs and organizing protests, The Washington Times reports it has a copy of a document describing tightly scripted events and an "escalation" of efforts against "enemies" of Obamacare.

Health Care for America Now (HCAN), which is backed by a coalition of labor unions and liberal groups including ACORN and MoveOn.org, organized the protests to target insurance companies and drafted the plan which details specific talking points, tactics, props and strategies to stage the protests. It lists goals that include action that "mobilizes our base by animating existing anger about private insurers."

Insane Killer on Field Trip to Fair

An insane killer sneaks away from the state hospital staff during a field trip to the county fair. Sounds like the plot for a low budget Halloween movie doesn't it? But no, this really happened at the Spokane County Fair.

"He's got a very significant criminal history in his past," Police Chief Layne Erdman said. "He's been known to harm police officers when encountering them, he's obviously escaped from mental hospital so we do have concerns about what he's capable of."

Concerns? For heaven's sake this is a homicidal lunatic we're talking about here. And he didn't escape from a mental hospital he ran away at the fair.

The news report says Eastern State officials are trying to figure out what went wrong, prompting an immediate halt of criminal field trips across the state, and launching an investigation in mental health policies.

What went wrong is not realizing that taking psychotic murderers on field trips is probably a bad decision. Whoever made that decision will hopefully be looking for work very soon, a future in lawn care might be appropriate.

Both the Poles and Czechs reacted angrily to Obama's decision to betray them. His abandoning of the missile defense we promised them must be part of his scheme to make the world like us again.

"No Radar. Russia won," the largest Czech daily, Mlada Fronta Dnes, stated in its headline.

An editorial in Hospodarske Novine, a respected pro-business Czech newspaper, said: "an ally we rely on has betrayed us, and exchanged us for its own, better relations with Russia, of which we are rightly afraid."

True to his agenda, our president has now abandoned the missile defense shield in the Czech Republic and Poland. Czech Premier Jan Fischer told reporters that Obama phoned him overnight to say that "his government is pulling out of plans to build a missile defense radar on Czech territory." He said Obama assured him that the "strategic cooperation" between the Czech Republic and the U.S. would continue, and that Washington considers the Czechs among its closest allies.

Yes, that's the way to treat your closest allies, at least it's the Obama way. I'm sure they really feel they can count on our strategic cooperation going forward. "If the administration approaches us in the future with any request, I would be strongly against it," said Jan Vidim, a lawmaker with Czech Republic's conservative Civic Democratic Party, which supported the missile defense plan.

Once again, the infamous Obama diplomacy skills reap a harvest of animosity from those we may need most in the future. But, by doing this he has made the world a little safer for Iran.

Charlie Gibson of ABC (Another Barack Company) news has claimed to be totally ignorant of the ACORN scandal. Gibson told a radio show Tuesday morning that he wasn't familiar with the story — and it might be "just one you leave to the cables." This is the guy entrusted to do the news? He obviously doesn't spend much time doing research or for that matter just reading the news.

And, he thinks it's funny. "I don't even know about it," Gibson said, laughing. "So you've got me at a loss. ... But my goodness, if it's got everything, including sleaziness in it, we should talk about it in the morning."

As bugs bunny says, "What a maroon."

It is obvious that ABC censors the news to put Obama and other liberals in the best light possible. They would rather look like complete idiots then simply admit they are a propaganda tool of the subversives in America.

Jimmy Carter Escapes From Home Again

Jimmy Carter said Tuesday that Joe Wilson's outburst to President Barack Obama during a speech to Congress last week was an act "based on racism" and rooted in fears of a black president. How Jimmy knows this remains unexplained, but my guess would be he's projecting his own deep rooted antisemitism on others and calling them racists.

"I think it's based on racism," Carter said in response to an audience question at a town hall held at his presidential center in Atlanta. "There is an inherent feeling among many in this country that an African-American should not be president."

There is an inherent belief among many in this country that Jimmy Carter should not have been president. There is also an inherent belief in this country that the worst president in modern times is Jimmy Carter and it would be nice if he stayed in the home and kept his mouth shut.

Meanwhile, Wilson's spokesman was not immediately available for comment, but his eldest son defended his father.

"There is not a racist bone in my dad's body," said Alan Wilson, an Iraq veteran who is running for state attorney general. "He doesn't even laugh at distasteful jokes. I won't comment on former President Carter, because I don't know President Carter. But I know my dad, and it's just not in him."

Obama told Wall Street yesterday that the nation’s economic outlook has improved. I'm not sure what that means, but he clearly wants us to believe that he has saved us from another great depression. He wants us to believe that his stimulus bill has staved off economic catastrophe. But, has it?

Here's a frightening article on how US credit is shrinking at the Great Depression rate and the conclusion by Professor Tim Congdon from International Monetary Research that the Federal Reserve and other central banks will be forced to engage in outright monetization of government debt by next year.

We are in a world of financial hurt, folks, and it's getting worse, not better. Our Joker president hasn't a clue what he's talking about or doing. By the end of 2010 his ineptness will have us deep in a crippling recession, if not an outright depression.

Barack Obama says, "We can be confident that the storms of the past two years are beginning to break." A better analogy would be that the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train.

Barack Kickbacks to Unions

Continuing his dazzling display of diplomatic dumbness, our president has now managed to tick off America's creditors, the Chinese.

Apparently not satisfied with his unbroken string of foreign policy failures, he signed an order Friday to impose a new duty of 35 per cent on Chinese tire imports. This is on top of an existing 4 per cent tariff.

Why? So, he can appease the United Steelworkers union which represents tire workers at US factories. It's payback for their support.

What's the result? China said it would now investigate imports of US poultry and vehicles, which could lead to a loss of more US jobs. It seems the administration is not concerned about American unemployment as long as those who lose their jobs are not union members.

The US warned Beijing against taking retaliatory action. Yes, I'm sure China is quaking in their boots...just like North Korea and Iran.

No Thanks, Barack

Once again, Obama is preparing to bypass the wishes of the American people. "I will not accept the status quo. Not this time. Not now." Those are his words, as his jackals like Rahm Emanuel plot to force more of his edicts upon us.

Next week the Omamamites will move forward with their health care travesty and tell opponents to go to hell.

We must do the same as we did to stop the Bush Shamnesty. Call, write and email your representative and senators. Make sure they know if they support the government takeover of health care, their political future is over.

Not the ACORN Obama Knew?

The Census Bureau has pulled the plug on ACORN.

The Census Director in a letter severing ties with the organization, said, "It is clear that ACORN's affiliation with the 2010 census promotion has caused sufficient concern in the general public, has indeed become a distraction from our mission, and may even become a discouragement to public cooperation, negatively impacting 2010 census efforts."

This was a long time in coming, but finally this group of petty criminals, subversives and radicals have been exposed to the American public. Now, we need to make the same public keenly aware of just how deeply involved our president was with this pack of radicals that helped elect him.

Now, despite the fact that we are bankrupt, we have begun construction on the biggest federal building project in the Washington area since the Pentagon 68 years ago. Do you hear the sound of cash registers going off? That's an estimated $3.4 billion which as we all know will balloon to well over $5 billion. Appropriately, the structure will be built at a location previously established by Congress in 1855 as the Government Hospital for the Insane.

Janet justifies it all by saying, "It will help us hold meetings."

They can't build the border wall, they can't fund education for our kids, they can't find the money that's been paid into social security, but Janet's set with a taj mahal and girl scout cookies.

Another Obama Crisis?

The Washington Times reports that the Justice Department's Office of Professional Responsibility has begun an inquiry into the dismissal of a civil complaint against the New Black Panther Party and two of its members who disrupted a Philadelphia polling place during last year's presidential elections.

I don't have a lot of hope this will lead anywhere except it may convince more people that this Obama crowd make Haldeman, Ehrlichman,Mitchell and Dean look like they should be up for canonization.

Let's see if Obama throws another of his radical under the bus to protect his own hide. This does bear watching.

Doing Their Best to Finish Us Off

According to a Gallup Poll released Tuesday more Americans oppose health care reform than support it. 37 percent of Americans support the pending legislation, 39 percent want their congressmen to vote against it.

That doesn't matter to people like Dirty Harry Reid and his sidekick Pernicious Pelosi. Reid told reporters that “we're going to do our very best to have a public option or something like a public option before we finish this work.”

Harry and Nancy's best means the worst for our nation. If they win on this, amnesty for illegals will not be far behind. One way or another they will be added to our health insurance rolls at American taxpayer expense.

Meanwhile, Friday is the anniversary of the Islamomaniacs attack on our nation and according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's performance report, we will not secure a single additional mile of the U.S. border in fiscal 2010. We will however make sure that those who wish to kill and subjugate us are not harmed and have the very best health care we can give them.

Barack and the American Image

In 2007 Barack Obama said, "The day I'm inaugurated, not only will the country look at itself differently, but the world will look at America differently."

It seems he was right. A lot of Americans are certainly looking at the country differently and they aren't happy about what they see in Washington.

As for other countries, recent reports state that anti-Americanism is on the rise in Pakistan.

A survey last month for international broadcaster al Jazeera by Gallup Pakistan found that 59 percent of Pakistanis felt the greatest threat to the country was the United States. A separate survey in August by the Pew Research Center, an independent pollster based in Washington, recorded that 64 percent of the Pakistani public regards the U.S. "as an enemy" and only 9 percent believe it to be a partner.

It seems our president's apologies for America have really had an effect, just not the one he was hoping for.

Dean Defends the Devil, Mr. Jones

The mad doctor of the Democrat party, Howard Dean, was in the news again. This time he is bemoaning the loss to America of Barack's green beast, Van Jones.

"I think he was brought down," Dean told "FOX News Sunday," saying he just spoke to Jones. "I think it's a loss for the country."

He mentioned the facts that Jones graduated law school and that he is an author, as if that alone credentialed him for government service.

Like most of the media, Dean ignores the facts substantiating Jones' consistent pattern of hatred of America and his desire to subvert and destroy the American system of government.

"I don't think he really thinks the government had anything to do with causing 9/11," Dean said.

But, 911Truth.org spokesman Mike Berger, whose group sponsored the statement, earlier told FOX News that Jones knew what he was signing. Of course, he did.

Dean is even more dangerous than Jones and is a perfect example of why the water in Vermont needs to be tested.

The Van Who Said Too Much

I said yesterday Barack would unload his green bundle of hate called Van Jones. Of course if you were to believe the CNN report it's because Jones signed a controversial petition regarding the 9/11 attacks. They've covered this Obama appointment so poorly they probably believe that.

Jones is claiming he's a victim (of course) of reform opponents. He probably means the senior health care mob that's been terrorizing our town meetings.

"On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me," Jones said in the statement. "They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide."

"But I came here to fight for others, not for myself. I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future," Jones said.

Van, if you only had a conscience that would be a big help. As it stands, your extremist statements and actions have proven you unfit to serve in government. Return to your communist, black liberation radical cronies where you belong. Good riddance.

Not the Van Jones Barack Knew?

Events in our nation continue to get uglier and uglier.

More and more we have information coming out about Barack's Green Czar, Van Jones. We know he was a communist, he believed in a 9/11 conspiracy and denounced America the day after 9/11. We've heard his juvenile remarks about Republicans, punctuated by poor grammar and sneers. Now, it also comes out that he helped disrupt an Oakland police youth event with a demonstration of support for a cop killer on death row.

Our president appointed this piece of trash and is paying him with the tax dollars of American citizens. Despite all that we know about this evil, subversive scum, he remains in office while our incompetent commander in chief wonders what to do about him.

If we had a leader with an ounce of wisdom and dash of integrity this man would not even be allowed to visit the White House. As it stands, Barack will get rid of him, not because it is the right thing to fix this horrible mistake, but because he simply cannot afford to haul more radical baggage than he already is burdened with now.

Is it any wonder that the Chinese Communist flag will be flying proudly at the White House later this month? How long before it is a permanent fixture?

We have a president who has shown his fondness for people who love all things communist, from their flags to Che Guevara posters. His supporters love Fidel and Che and despise America.

We must take our nation back.

Biden Calls This Success

Court Jester Joe Biden proclaimed success beyond expectations Thursday, but on Friday it was announced that the unemployment rate rose to 9.7 percent in August, the highest since June 1983. If laid-off workers who have settled for part-time work or have given up looking for new jobs are included, the underemployment rate is 16.8 percent.

Barack's fool, Biden, said, "The recovery act has played a significant role in changing the trajectory of our economy, and changing the conversation in this country.Instead of talking about the beginning of a depression, we are talking about the end of a recession."

Joe, talk is cheap, where's the beef?

Democrats Say, "The Department of Education should not be producing paid political advertising for the president"

Picture it, America, October 3, 1991. President George H. W. Bush will broadcast a speech from a Northwest Washington junior high school.

Dick Gephardt the Democrat House Majority leader rants, "The Department of Education should not be producing paid political advertising for the president, it should be helping us to produce smarter students."

Hold that thought. So, why today are the Democrats not screaming about Obama?

Because they are the biggest bunch of hypocrites to ever inhabit God's green earth.

Inspire and Educate the Obama Way

The Obama plan to glorify himself among school children has caused an uproar. Suggested activities encouraged children to write letters to themselves about what they could do to help the president. These would be collected and redistributed at a later date by the teacher to make students accountable to their goals.

Teachers were also given guidance to tell students to "build background knowledge about the president of the United States by reading books about presidents and Barack Obama." Wouldn't the word presidents include Barack or are they saying he's something above and beyond that?

The Department of Education suggested teachers prepare by excerpting quotes from Obama's speeches on education for their students to contemplate and ask questions such as "Why does President Obama want to speak with us today? How will he inspire us? How will he challenge us?" The Washington Times reported today that presidential aides acknowledged they helped the U.S. Education Department write the suggested assignments. The White House last night confirmed they were revising the lesson plan that was distributed last week by the U.S. Department of Education.

"We're clarifying that language," White House spokesman Tommy Vietor said.

Clarifying? Does this mean the children will not be required to salute Herr Obama? Will there be no government healthcare armbands? Will we not hear the militant strains of Obama uber alles?

White House aides said the language was an honest misunderstanding in what was supposed to be a inspirational, pro-education message to America's youths. We know all about your plans for inspiring and educating the youth. It's been done before. By the way Barack, do you have relatives in Argentina?

Napolitano's Grasp of the Obvious Still Strong

Janet Napolitano has some more words of wisdom for America. She said Wednesday that people should expect "a big influx" of swine flu cases this fall. Her advice to them was to prepare as best they can.

Remember this was the genius that offered us the helpful, "if you are sick, stay home."

Meanwhile, this could be deadly serious. There have been over 550 deaths in the United States from H1N1 and a scientific advisory panel recently sent the White House a report saying it was possible that anywhere from 30 percent to half the population could catch what doctors call "2009 H1N1" and that it was also possible there could be between 30,000 and 90,000 deaths.

What's really worrisome is that Janet, who couldn't protect one state's border with Mexico when she was a governor, is now in charge of watching over the whole country. If this virus changes to a more deadly strain we're doomed.

Gabrielle Giffords Conclusion

So, Gabby is moving on and had her town hall meeting in Green Valley last night.

The newspaper called the event "subdued." This crowd, estimated at 500 was considerably smaller than the one in Sierra Vista, but the report said they rocked the West Social Center with applause for speakers who opposed government expanding its role in health care.

The people are making themselves heard and that is a good thing. We just need to keep the heat turned up and the incumbents turned out.

Final Note: Word has it that Gabby is planning more meetings, this time on border area checkpoints. I can't wait!

Third Act, Gabby Does the Blue Dog Dance

I will start by saying I didn't sit through all of this, it was too painful. Of course, one of the people maneuvered to make a comment had a medical horror story involving his wife.

Tragedy is unfortunate, but it is a part of life that almost no family avoids. That is why it is so important to make sure you are properly insured. If you are not going to take the time to make sure you are prepared then do not be surprised and blame others when you are devastated.

Giffords told us nothing new. She appeared because she was afraid not to and she picked the safest environment she could.

We heard the same old argument that the health bill does not give coverage to illegals. However, if the bill does not specifically deny it, the courts will interpret it as covering them. Giffords knows that.

She jumped on the tort reform bandwagon, so obviously she hasn't talked to Howard Dean. Here's what he had to say. “Here is why tort reform is not in the bill. When you go to pass a really enormous bill like that the more stuff you put in, the more enemies you make, right? And the reason why tort reform is not in the bill is because the people who wrote it did not want to take on the trial lawyers in addition to everybody else they were taking on, and that is the plain and simple truth. Now, that’s the truth.”

So, let's see what Gabby does with all this constituent feedback. Despite her delight at being a blue dog donkey, my money is on her falling into line with the Obama agenda, once again. When Rahm tells the zombies to unite, what choice do they have?

Part Deux, Gabby and Demento Carmona

Gabby brought Richard Carmona a former Vice Admiral and Surgeon General with her. Carmona, who tried to come across as apolitical, was a clever pick by Gabby. He's a decorated veteran and this is the home of Fort Huachuca. However, as John Murtha has proven to us, not all veterans are honorable men.

Carmona parroted the same old liberal nonsense about how we have to change everything right away because the system is too costly and we're told by organizations like WHO that there are twenty or thirty nations ahead of us in health care.

Of course, liberals like Carmona, and he is one, never give detailed explanations of how the rating system is done and how we are comparing apples and oranges. No, they seize on some stupid study that they feel supports their agenda and run with it. Just like another liberal parrot that kept repeating her mantra last night, "check factcheck.org." I nominate her for the euthanasia poster child.

Anyway, Gabby, nice try with Doctor Demento Carmona. That wild eyed lefty can claim the office of surgeon general is apolitical, but we who can read, write and walk erect all know it's not and we certainly know this mad sawbones who went out of his way to demonize the president who appointed him is not. His NYC and SF roots are showing.

A Night With Gabby Part 1

OK, she showed up. But, before we get to that part let's talk about the prelude.

You know how the left always talks about organized, groups seizing control of town hall meetings? Well, all the organization at this one, people with signs, people with stickers, idiots with dolls in wheel chairs were on Gabby's side. Now, remember everyone with an ounce of awareness(and I know that eliminates a lot of the lefties) knew no signs were allowed. But that didn't stop these turkeys.

The geriatric hippies and Barney Franks' boys in the band from Bisbee were there ready to skip to any Obama tune that might be played. Gabby brought trendy friends from Tucson who had to rub elbows with country folk.

I saw an old fool in short pants wearing a shirt that said "God has no borders." Have you heard about heaven and hell, pal? There's no one crossing that border, I'll clue you. And, if you want to emulate God, guess what. He doesn't have health insurance. This moron had a cast on his left foot, probably from trying to extract it fom his mouth.

Then there was the sign, "Who would Jesus insure?" How about nobody moron, He healed people. This scum is always trying to drag God into their argument until we're talking about virtuous living or killing unborn babies.

Enough, I'm tired and there are so many more idiots to write about. I'll be back tomorrow skewering more of these losers of the left.

Gabby Giffords to Cluck Tonight

Making sure she can control as much of what takes place as possible, Gabby Giffords is holding her town meeting at Buena High School in Sierra Vista tonight. No guns or firearms allowed inside or outside the building.

Let's see if she shows up tonight since she has developed a pattern of canceling events and accusing her constituents of manipulation and racism. Gabby knows manipulation that's why she's chosen to have the meeting at the high school rather than where people can really express themselves. I'm surprised she hasn't flown in Officer Wesley Cheeks to help with crowd control.

Well, let's see how hot we can make the tar for Gabby and the chicken feathers on her will be truly appropriate attire.

OK, I can't stand it anymore. The police have to stop these inane statements and CNN has to stop reporting them with a straight face.

First, the FBI issues a description for a bank robber suspect with an "unshaven goatee." This way you will not confuse him with someone with a shaven goatee?

Now, the police chief in Glynn County, Georgia offers this gem. He admits they have "no known suspects" in the recent murder. "We are not looking for any known suspects," Police Chief Matt Doering said. "That doesn't say that there are no suspects. They're just not known to us."

If they're not known how can they be suspects and if they're suspects how can they be unknown? Clue number one, if you don't have suspects you know about, there aren't any!

Who Is He?

Who am I?

I was born in one country, raised in another. My father was born in
another country. I was not his only child.
He fathered several children with numerous women.
I became very close to my mother, as my father showed no interest in me.

My mother died at an early age from cancer.
Later in life, questions arose over my real name.

My birth records were sketchy and no one was able to produce a
legitimate reliable birth certificate.

I grew up practicing one faith but converted to Christianity, as it
was widely accepted in my country, but I practiced
non-traditional beliefs & didn't follow Christianity, except in the
public eye under scrutiny.

I worked and lived among lower-class people as a young adult,
disguising myself as someone who really cared about them..

That was before I decided it was time to get serious about my life and I embarked on a new career.

I wrote a book about my struggles growing up. It was clear to those who read my memoirs that I had difficulties
accepting that my father abandoned me as a child.

I became active in local politics in my 30's then with help behind the scenes, I literally burst onto the scene as a candidate for national office in my 40's. They said I had a golden tongue and could talk anyone into anything. That reinforced my conceit.

I had a virtually non-existent resume, little work history, and no
experience in leading a single organization.
Yet I was a powerful speaker and citizens were drawn to me as though I were a magnet and they were small roofing tacks.

I drew incredibly large crowds during my public appearances. This
bolstered my ego.

At first, my political campaign focused on my country's foreign
policy. I was very critical of my country in the last war and
seized every opportunity to bash my country.

But what launched my rise to national prominence were my views on the country's economy.
I pretended to have a really good plan on how we could do better and every poor person would be fed & housed for free.

I knew which group was responsible for getting us into this mess. It was the free market, banks & corporations.
I decided to start making citizens hate them and if they were envious of others who did well, the plan was clinched tight.

I called mine "A People's Campaign" and that sounded good to all people.

I was the surprise candidate because I emerged from outside the traditional path of politics & was able to gain widespread popular support.

I knew that, if I merely offered the people 'hope', together we could change our country and the world.

So, I started to make my speeches sound like they were on behalf of the downtrodden, poor, ignorant to
include "persecuted minorities" like the Jews.. My true views were not widely known & I needed to keep them
unknown, until after I became my nation's leader.

I had to carefully guard reality, as anybody could have easily found
out what I really believed, if they had simply read my writings and examined those people I associated with.

I'm glad they didn't. Then I became the most powerful man in the
world. And the world learned the truth.

"This used to be America," argued a protester outside a health-care town hall meeting in Reston, Va., after a police officer threatened him with arrest for holding up a sign with a picture critical of Barack Obama.

The officer's response?

"It ain't no more, OK?"

Will Obama be serving beers to these two? If Barack wants to see a policeman acting stupidly he should consider this a teaching moment.

She's Baaack!

The ghost of war protesters past, Cindy Sheehan, has come to haunt Barack Obama.

On Thursday, she and her cohorts appeared outside the media center used by journalists covering Obama's vacation at Martha's Vineyard.

"The reason I am here is because ... even though the facade has changed in Washington DC, the policies are still the same," Sheehan told a handful of journalists, against a backdrop of her "Camp Casey" banner.

She told US peace activists to wake up and protest Obama's escalation of the war in Afghanistan, and complained that despite the president's anti-war stance, US troops remained in Iraq.

At least she is consistent, a quality that will make her anathema to the rest of the insane left. In other words will Nancy Pelosi be rubbing shoulders with her now?

Here's a report that shows contrary to what Pentagon officials said this week, documents prove reporters’ coverage is being graded as “positive,” “neutral” or “negative.” Moreover, these ratings are intended to help Pentagon image-makers manipulate stories that reporters produce while they are embedded with U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

Ah, this is Obama's war so the liberal press will look the other way.

The Bad Joke's Getting Worse

Besides the economy continuing to nosedive, Obama's war is not going well either. Despite 30,000 plus American troops sent to Afghanistan this year, the Taliban problem is growing worse.

The number of foreign troops killed in Afghanistan this year now stands at 295, according to icasualties.org, a website which compiles official figures. Last year, 294 died.

Of the more than 100,000 coalition troops in the country, 63,000 of them are Americans. Where are the war protestors now? During Obama's watch more alliance troops have died since March than during the entire period from 2001-2004.

Aghanistan's election results also do not look promising. They indicate a turnout of about 5 million in a country of around 15 million eligible voters.

Obama's Chickens Coming Home Early

What every intelligent and rational person already knew, Barack is being forced to verbalize.

Unemployment will climb to 10 percent this year and the deficit will be $1.5 trillion next year. These numbers are both higher than the Barack boys predicted. They, of course, are still trying to say the recession was deeper and wider and longer and higher than anyone could have anticipated. That is a crock. Things are bad and going to get worse because this administration makes the three stooges look like Einstein, Da Vinci and Tesla.

To say that Barack and company are inept is too kind. Obama is incompetent and in way over his head. He can no longer play the blame game. This is all happening on his watch and he is responsible for the mess.

Because of his massive ego he will be unable to let go of this madcap health insurance scheme. He will still want to spend us further into debt and will tax us all into the poorhouse to do it.

He must be stopped before he places us in a hole we can never escape. When election time comes, make your vote count. In the meantime, let the politicians know that those who support Obama will pay the price.

“This is not a war of choice," President Obama has stated. “This is a war of necessity. Those who attacked America on 9/11 are plotting to do so again. If left unchecked, the Taliban insurgency will mean an even larger safe haven from which Al Qaeda would plot to kill more Americans.”

Now, military commanders with the NATO have told Obama's chief envoy to the Afghanistan that they did not have enough troops to do their job.

What will Barack's reponse be? Will he keep the troop levels the same, increase them or withdraw?

If he keeps levels the same and we continue to suffer losses with no reasonable hope of turning the tide will the press vilify him as they did Bush? If he increases levels will the insane leftists once again run amok like they did during the last administration?

Is there a chance Barack will pull us out of the conflict despite his own words describing it as a "war of necessity." He's waffled on other issues he previously had called critical, why should this be any different. Watch for some aide, czar or secretary to suggest a pullout so Barack can gauge the public reaction.

Unlike our previous president who did what he thought was best for America, Obama will do what he thinks is best for Barack. To paraphrase his pastor, America be damned.

Tax Money Used to Sell Obamacare

So, the White House knew all along how some recipients received e-mails in support of Obama's health care plan without signing up for them. They used tax payer dollars to sell us on their government health care scheme. I suppose that's part of the "stimulus."

Yet when Baghdad Bob Gibbs was questioned by Major Garrett, Gibbs sneered as if it was a ridiculous insinuation that the transparency team had done something sneaky. He wanted to move on to more constructive questions like where Obama was going to fiddle while America burns down.
