John Bolton's recess appointment to be UN ambassador is drawing predictable criticism from Massachusetts Senator Edward Kennedy.
The move is allowed by the Constitution but it will only last until January 2007. Other presidents, from Washington on, have made recess appointments but Kennedy calls the bypass of the Senate "a devious maneuver that evades the constitutional requirement of Senate consent." Of course, exaggeration, distortion of the facts and outright lies have always been at the forefront of Teddy's oratorical tactics.Teddy if you want to know what a devious maneuver really is review your actions back in Chappaquiddick in 1969. That was devious and designed to evade the law. Sober up, senator!

He's the same guy who said that the Iraq war was cooked up in Texas over oil, or nonsense to that effect! Ted Kennedy is the worst disgrace in the U.S. Senate, with the possible exception of Sen. Byrd.
See LEAVWORLD for my latest post about Ambassador Bolton: I think you'll laugh, and like it.
Teddy again? What a freak! I'm glad to see the president make this bold move.
Oh, yea; how can anyone take this guy seriously?
