Hillary, Afraid To Visit Puerto Rico

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- Puerto Rican police tightened security at federal buildings and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton canceled a visit to the island amid fears the killing of a Puerto Rican nationalist in an FBI shootout could lead to a resurgence of pro-independence violence.

Clinton was to have addressed the chamber of commerce in the southern city of Ponce on Friday, spokesman Philippe Reines said. He did not return calls and e-mail queries about why the New York Democrat canceled the trip and if it had to do with the protests.

But Chamber of Commerce President Ernesto Cordova cited the "sensitivity of the current political situation."

What is Hillary afraid of? These are her friends and supporters. She's the one who pushed her husband to grant pardons to 16 Puerto Rican terrorists who had been responsible for bombings that killed and maimed our fellow citizens. One of the worst took place in Manhattan. The Clintons have never taken terrorism seriously.

Of course, the pardons were done to buy Hillary votes in her run for senator of NY. In fact, former US Attorney Joseph DiGenova stated, "Let me say categorically, the Puerto Rican terrorists were pardoned because they were a political benefit to the president's wife."

The opposition to the pardons came across the spectrum, from Mayor Guiliani to Senator Chuck Schumer. But, that was of no consequence to the Clintons who would canonize Osama himself if that would buy them more power.

Hillary will probably run for the presidency or at the very least take her best shot at the democrat nomination. A woman who would work to obtain undeserved clemency for murderers just to garner votes is not fit for the oval office. In fact, she is not fit for the Senate or any other public office. What a disgrace.
