Wrong Way In California

Here's another gift from our neighbor to the south.

There are reports that in order to avoid Border Patrol checkpoints, smugglers of illegals and/or drugs are turning off their lights and driving the wrong way on the freeway.

This tactic has been tried on Interstate 8 near San Diego and has caused fatal accidents.

Caltrans, the California Highway Patrol and the Border Patrol have met and under consideration is a warning system with electronic signs to alert drivers about wrong-way vehicles.

Guess who will pay the cost of that? It won't be Vicente Fox my friends, he could care less about what his countymen do as long as he doesn't have to support them.

Our president thinks these people are good material for amnesty and future citizenship. We have politicians who want to give them a license to drive. Why? They are obviously not going to follow the rules of the road anytime its inconvenient for them. Late for my day laborer assembly at the local Home Depot? No problem, just run a few red lights or up on the sidewalk.

Is anybody in Washington paying attention? Hello, we can't hear you.
